Dr. A C Ashok is a qualified general surgeon, academician and an excellent administrator. He completed his post graduation from Delhi. He was awarded the Pyare Lal Sharma gold medal in Surgery, best Resident & best surgical teacher from Ministry of Health. He is the member of the Association of Surgeons of India, Fellow of the International College of Surgeons, member & faculty of the International Trauma Life Support and has a Fellowship in Minimal Access Surgery. He has completed Senior Executive management program from IIM, Bangalore.

He brings over 24 years of teaching experience and over 11 years of administrative experience as Registrar-Academics, Principal & Dean of a leading Medical college in Bengaluru.. He also served as the Medical Director for Sagar Hospitals, Bengaluru.
